How many times has an outlet or extension cord failed because it was sticking out too far? You can't move a desk, cabinet or other piece of furniture far enough - a royal pain in the back. Requires a 90 degree or offset end. They are very well made, both ends are the right size, good positive connections, no wobble, rated at 13A, 125V AC. The only other element I could wish for would be if the plug was rotated 45 degrees, as two of these cannot be plugged into the same duplex outlet - same goes for some power strips. This is not a disadvantage and does not diminish the usefulness of the adapter for my current use - be aware of that.
