My dog Winston is a very active yellow labrador. We live in a village surrounded by wheat fields. We like to go jogging any time of the year and since it's yellow and the wheat straw is yellow, I was concerned about how well it would blend in and chose this vest. Finding the right size is always tricky, this vest has a bit of stretch and has elasticated shoulder straps so there is some wiggle room when trying on. It's 85# Lab and the XXL fits perfectly with the straps set somewhere in the middle. He actually likes to be dressed when we go out, so he seems to like it. It could have used a little more reflective strips but otherwise a good vest. Hope that helps.
