XL was too small for a 12-year-old boy

My 12 year old son could barely squeeze his gloved hand, it was too small for him even though the Columbia size chart says it should fit 14-16 years. I also ordered the small size for my 5 year old daughter and it fits her, maybe even a little big so she can use it next year too. I am posting a spreadsheet here (from Columbia's website). Clothing sizes) Glove sizes XS 4-6XS 7-8L 10-12XL 14-16
