They're nice and thin and soft, but they run small! My son is 4ft 6in, weighs 62lbs, he is 8 years old and usually wears a boy size 8 shirt or size 8/10 top. shrinks easily. If he wants it SKIIIIIN tight a size down would do, but it wouldn't fit longer than 3 months. Size 12 should allow him to wear it a little looser this year and maybe wear it again next year as a leather , one narrow underwear if the sleeves are long enough. The size 10 underwear was perfect for his size to wear straight. Fit, the way they are meant to be worn.
