Men's Minnetonka Double Bottom Hardsole - Size 8 1/2 The fit wasn't great, just wide and 'flexible', it was the second pair of these moccasins I've had and honestly NOT a real one Winner. My food is 9 medium. I usually "don't wear socks" and do this year round, so I wear men's 9s and remember the last pair I had was a bit loose. I ordered 8 1/2 and the length was perfect although the width seemed wide. Now thinking maybe I should have gone with an 8, I checked and realized they were too small to squeeze the toe box and admitted, no matter what anyone says, they don't stretch enough to fit the shoe width change. Now, while the lace surrounds the moccasins and helps with the fit, it just isn't enough. I found the left shoe to be slightly larger than the right (huh?) and really doesn't fit. (This reminds me why I swapped out the last pair for LL Bean moccasins) In short if you are looking for a form fitting moccasin. That's not it. . The quality is very good, but the size leaves a lot to be desired. Really not worth returning them so I'll wear them in any bad environment the weather throws at me and just see how long I can hold them up! But I wouldn't recommend it and I wouldn't buy it again. I will just go back to this great Maine company that costs more but then again. I get what I pay for!
