I purchased this unit to replace a lost latest generation Intel MacBook Pro charger and I was not disappointed. Functionally, it works just as well as the original for a fraction of the cost. It has a few fit and finish issues. The interchangeable end of the plug works like an Apple charger, making it easy to replace non-US plugs, longer power cords, etc. But the end doesn't fit as neatly or tightly as Apple-branded devices. The USB-C cable also had to be inserted into the charger with excessive force. After doing this a few times, the connector now seems tight enough. There were no connectivity issues on the MacBook side, and the cable itself feels as solid as an Apple cable. The MacBook recognized the charger and its output was high enough to charge the battery while the computer was running. Of course, time will tell how well it holds up. But for now everything is fine. And at a fraction of Apple's price. I would buy this again without hesitation.
