This is another set of the same type of snap top containers but from a different manufacturer. (I don't think any other manufacturer has round containers in their group options. And something tells me they're better - maybe because they're more expensive but seem thicker. The ones I'm considering are very Well). The lids should be flush with the floor - a little experience is enough. Plain regular lids are always questionable - some snap, some don't. Now I buy these cases. The plastic also seems stronger and more durable than regular containers, but I haven't had them for a long time. There are two reasons why these lids work better. They have a strong locking mechanism. And yet they have a rubber ring cut into the rim. The only thing is that you can't put a lid in the microwave - and I suspect that's because of the rubber. But the rubber is easy to remove with this manufacturer (unlike my other tanks). So if I want a microphone, I first take off the rubber ring. Also because of the rubber ring I do not put the lid in the washing machine. Again, the rubber rings can be removed if they need to be put in the dishwasher. When I hand wash the lids, water stays under the rubber ring, so sometimes I take it off and wipe it dry. Otherwise I'm afraid that mold will develop in the water. Until I heated these containers in the microwave. I use them more for storage - snacks (chips, cookies, etc.) and kibble (beans, rice, etc.) and veggies in the fridge. Now I feel very neat and clean! Instead of storing groceries in their own plastic bags. I use it for lunch but I don't have a microwave at work. And until now I haven't kept any cooked food in the fridge because most of the time I eat freshly prepared food. Much luck! I would buy these.
