Like the other reviewer, I received a blanket that is much heavier and stiffer than the one pictured. Definitely NOT an all-weather rug, but more of a winter rug. weight one. It's a lot bigger than the one in the photo. It is also very difficult to climb into the duvet cover because the outer layer of cotton is not smooth but tough. It's a bit like velcro on my duvet cover, which is made of smooth cotton. Because of this, it is very inconvenient to put a heavy and hard blanket inside. According to the website, this duvet is not washable but needs to be dry cleaned, which rather goes against the principle of an inorganic, MCS friendly item! I want to wash it in the hope that it will become less stiff and easier to pull into the duvet cover, but I'm afraid it will shrink even on a low setting.
