I needed a really good waterproof backpack after my last backpack got my laptops wet after going to class in the rain. But this backpack had too many downsides for me to abandon. In the beginning there just weren't enough pockets for all my stuff: a pencil case, power banks, cables, a laptop charger, a tablet. The top pocket merges into the main pocket, so I found it difficult to get notebooks in and out when full. And the shoulder straps were uncomfortable and felt very ribbed and stiff. Other reviewers were right when they said the heavy duty zippers made it difficult to zip up and unzip, which is great for keeping water out.
