Review on Waterdrop Gravity Water Bag: Portable Foldable Bag for Backpacking, Camping & Emergency - 1.5 Gal, Compatible with Water Filter Straw by Gregory Rasmussen

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good price, wrong measurements

Good value for money so far. I only tested it at the sink. Cons: When filling up to the 1.5g mark, the lid didn't close. I sealed it with "1.25g" and an extra roll or two. Gauges are inaccurate. I poured 1 gallon into the bag and he filled it about an inch above the "1g" line. The pinch valve lets a small amount of water through. This is probably because the tubing is a bit stiffer than what the clamp is designed for. The hose is a bit stiff. Stiffer than, for example, the Platypus tube. PRO: There is a check valve on the outlet so you can remove the quick connect hose for filling and transport. It doesn't leak. The strap seems good and has hinges on the hooks. Got this to replace a 3 liter bag that only had a small hole. I could only fill it halfway in the shallow water so I had to make at least 2 trips to the water source. This new bag should allow me to fill it up once in shallow water and it will be enough to fill my hydration bladder and use it at camp with just a trip to the spring. I will update this review when I have more experience.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • I won't say anything
