I feed my pup a vet approved raw meat diet (PMR ratio). These containers are perfect for a 1.3 pound meal, but you can add 1.5 pounds if you cut the egg whites into small portions or grind them all together. They stack very well in the freezer and are relatively airtight (a few drips will spill out when you thaw them if tipped to one side). The only caveat I have is that the rim of the container is prone to tearing if you roughly open them. (It is recommended that you run your fingers along the underside of the lip to release the latches and not pull them up). It doesn't really affect much though, just don't side-thaw things.
