I've been using this for years and haven't found a better one. Even Sham-Wow fails in some places. Absorbent Use: In the shower, quickly wipe the tiles and glass, dry your hair, wipe the water off your body. Wash your wet car in the garage. In the yard you dry wet garden furniture. Wipe clean every surface in the house, damp wipe dirty screens, dry Fido after a bath (Sham-Wow works a little better for this). When on the lake, keep one in your kayak/boat to wipe dry after use. Simply wash in the washing machine for care. Never has a sour smell. Good product. This is my "magic towel"! Incidentally, Sham-Wow copes well with all of this, but does not dry surfaces without leaving streaks. Also, you'd better take care of it without washing it with fabric softeners. Sham-Wow is great for soaking up (absorbing) liquids from carpets or fabrics. The absorber is not designed for such work.
