I bought these glasses a while ago to lighten the weight of my heavy glasses in the dishwasher basket. They held up well so I ordered the dish rack again. The old ones aren't as transparent as the new ones, but after months of daily washing in the plumbing cycle, they haven't faded. I still prefer my glassware, but a dozen 16-ounce glasses add weight, so Coke glasses are a good choice in the middle. They take up more space than glass due to their shape, but again I'm happy with them.
