Generally a solid thing. The look and feel will match any brushed nickel ceiling fan (I have several) and it looks well built and sturdy. My only complaint, however, is that the holes don't line up with the ground wire screws on most original bars, and the threaded holes appear to be made in a way that causes the filaments to bend around the holes, causing the filaments to twist. stop screwing when the threads in the ceiling fan housing line up with the holes. These things are actually less of a problem than it seems as the ground wires also need to be in the ceiling mount and the holes still need to be visible and have enough room for the terminal pin.
