I've only used one of these so far so can't speak to quality control. Also, I'm not an electrician or electronics engineer, so I didn't analyze the output tester and analyzed it for a possible fire hazard. I don't leave it on - I just plug it in, charge it, then unplug it when it's fully charged. So far, so good. However, I like it very much. In the socket, it's thin enough that my sliding door fits over it easily (one day I'll have an electrician move a stupidly placed socket). It charges my Android phone and tablets very quickly. I like that it's white. The small size makes it ideal for travel. Too bad it's sold out right now because I'd love to buy a few more for friends.
