Better than my last webcam!

Ok, first a warning about my review, I have no experience with modern webcams. Logitech, namely, since this one clearly mimics Logitech's style, but each of them pretty much. The last webcam I bought is almost ten years old and until I bought this one I was only streaming using an old phone connected to my computer via DroidCam, which wasn't great. With that in mind, I'll consider this camera to be completely self-contained. I don't generally have a quality benchmark, but if you do, hopefully you can find out from the video I've attached which has some webcam clips taken straight from my computer using a software called OBS. The video will most likely be compressed when attached to the review, so I'm also attaching a shot taken directly from the webcam so you can see what it looks like in normal lighting. As usual, the focus of my review will be on the video, but here are a few important points for people who prefer to skim the video rather than watch it. The camera is connected according to the "Plug and Play" principle. The manual suggests some software, but it's not needed, at least on Windows 10. I plugged it in and Windows 10's native camera app saw it right away. I opened OBS and was able to stream it to Facebook - I'll assume it will work natively with whatever software you want to put it in, but I wouldn't bother with drivers or third party software if you already have the software . You may like installed.- Manual focus camera. I'm not sure if some modern cameras have autofocus, but I've seen other reviews mention it, so I think it deserves a line. However, it's not something you'll be constantly adjusting. Anything two feet or more doesn't seem to need adjustment at all β€” and I only had to fidget with it as I leaned very, very close to the camera β€” but even then, it only took a moment or two to adjust focus. .- sound "I". There is nothing to compare, but the sound quality is not very good. I don't think I'm giving any points though since I'm in for the video, I don't care how I sound when I'm in a video conference with grandma or whatever and most people it's going to be public broadcast, they have their own sound settings anyway. - I just noticed that there is a typo on the label on the front of the camera. It says "Tomorrow". It doesn't matter at all, but it's pretty funny. Of course, check out the video for a full review with footage straight from the camera. Edit: I don't know why, but the post-load compression is a lot softer on my DSLR footage than webcam footage - probably a grain problem. I would upload from another source, but that's against the review rules. However, imagine a 1080p video from a decent webcam and you will understand what you can get from this webcam. It fully fits its purpose.
