I received so many compliments on this scarf it was a worthwhile purchase even if it quickly became my favorite for its design and length, my regular wearing of the scarf started to roll fabrics. Hand washing in cold water very gently was fine, but one day it went into the washing machine and the stars faded from shiny to just 'there' on the main body of the fabric - still shiny on the ends for some reason. Anyway, cute, and if you don't wear it every chilly day, it should last you a long time!
