Well made and sturdy. We use it every day, wear and tear and defects are not noticeable. Decent table size. My wife loves them so much she asked me to buy plastic placemats to protect the finish and she accidentally knocked them over a couple of times on the coffee table with no damage to the table. We try not to put hot dishes on the table as we are not sure the surface can turn red. Sometimes we use an oven mitt to put something very hot on the appliance and we like to make the effort to keep it looking new.
