Review on ๐Ÿƒ ASICS Women's Gel-Cumulus 22: Optimal Running Support for Women by Michael Altayeb

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect fit, roomy toe box, very comfortable - Meets all ratings in online magazines

I never buy shoes online without trying them on somewhere because I don't fit well and I'm picky! But I needed them (the old shoes are no longer manufactured and are not available), and the current situation did not allow me to go to the store. I read many reviews to try to determine the right brand, model and size, including professional reviewers as well as regular customers. This design works very well for runners in a neutral or slightly supinating (underpronated) stance as it provides good cushioning and enough support to keep them from losing their balance. My legs are wide at the front and narrow at the back. I also like a lot of vertical room in the toe box. The fabric feels strong yet flexible and stretchy. This shoe offers both width and decent height in the front, with a slight internal reinforcement that lifts the fabric at the toe box. The gel and cushion feel ample in the back and adequate in the front, not a super soft ride but not uncomfortable at all. Flexible soles with enough grip to deal with a variety of paved and unpaved surfaces made my first outing a very good one. I combine walking and running and it seems to me that both gaits suit me. In terms of fit, I wear a women's US size 8.5 in most athletic shoes, 8 in dress shoes. Size 8.5m fits me perfectly, it has room for socks. I'd say this is the perfect fit, but the big toe box and flexible material make them feel roomier than narrower shoes of the same size. Due to my thin ankles and narrow heel, I use the last lace hole to tighten it. I'm glad they work so well for me.
