Review on EBags Mother Weekender Convertible Backpack: Versatile Casual Daypacks with Added Style by Jessica Burns

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Pleased with the characteristics of the bag and durability.

My wife and I each bought one for our 10 day trip to Italy. These are very well made bags with many great well thought out features. There were enough clothes for on the go, we took about 5 sets of clothes with us, we could have gotten along with less (washed on the way). The product's manufacturer's video outlines the features well, and it's what ended up buying us after looking at tons of other bags. Although these bags are in a higher price range than other bags that might work well, we bought them with the expectation that we would use them frequently to travel around Europe since we are empty nesters now. Not at all disappointed with the quality and durability. One star off due to the design of the chest straps as a pair got lost from one of the pockets. They are attached to the backpack straps with a semi-cylindrical tube on a cord sewn into the shoulder straps and we made sure they were attached as securely as possible before the trip, but we think the pair got lost when we got it had to stuff our bags under the seat on the plane in front of us (luggage compartments were full). As eBags claims to have a good guarantee we contacted them about the lost straps and they emailed back that they would replace them in 3 months as they were out of stock by then (hmmm). I hope I can report in 3 months that the company has kept its word. Additionally, we expect these bags to leave you with memories for years to come. PS: My framed wife is 5ft 5in tall in the photo.
