According to the description they have NO bells inside and are not musical in any form as shown in the photo. We chose this set over a cheaper pair based on the "calls/music" description. The parts should have small pieces of plastic inside as you can hardly hear the sound of the rattle. They also look like very common Chinese imports as there are multiple listings for the same item with different prices. I would go to a larger toy manufacturer to find a rattle that is slightly larger than something soft with a VERY WEAK sound. We give them back. We expected more from what we read on the list.
