I am disappointed. I really liked the Metro 2033 book, and 2035 is simply beyond competition. The beginning of the game is impressive, inspiring. Here it is - an adventure in a post-apocalyptic world. New people, situations, weapons and combat missions, search for a new home. But in the end, it all comes down to crawling on half-bent, unnecessary and, as it turns out, pointless, saving ammunition and finding spare parts for weapons. There is often no understanding of what the main character should do, what part of the game has already been completed. To be honest, I did not expect such a close, albeit bright, tearful ending. In general, the game is recognizable, worked out with soul. But, too short, sometimes empty and meaningless, not giving freedom of action and choice. . I'm lowering my rating from 3 stars to 1. After the main passage, I went to ng+. This is a nightmare guys. It looks like I won't be enough for the second playthrough. I walked around the game, listened to the "green" cassettes of the authors. I don't understand what they are proud of. The game lacks logic and at least a drop of realism. Bottom line: this squalor is not the Metro. The world is not thought out, the dialogues are drawn out due to the fact that Artem is dumb, there is no interaction with the world and NPCs - everything is scripted. Sorry, for the whole game to come only to whether you killed an unnecessary slave there in a dark corner and died or survived from this - this is not serious. By filters, cartridges, radiation, ballistics, stealth mode and bulletproof enemies, you can see how the authors "tried". Enemies run around without masks, and you run out of filters, or a line along or across the human body from 5 steps does not lead to a terrible death, the enemies either do not see point-blank, they are stupid, then they see at night (!) From a distance of 200 meters. The potential of the game is huge, but the output is such a fail. It reminded me of DA Inquisition where it only got worse with each game, and with the release of the 3rd open-world game, it finally fell down. The trailer to the music of Murphy or Artyom's nightmare turned out to be better than the game itself. And yet, I don’t even know how to explain that all the things in the game, where the war began in 2022, look deeply Soviet. Is this Russophobia like Glukhovsky's?
