I'm glad I read the reviews. I usually wear SMALL in robes, blouses etc but accepted offers to take MEDIUM which I did and the robe fits me perfectly. The shoulders seem to be where they should be and when the robe is closed and tied around me it is not tight or baggy. The only thing I would change is the length of the strap, that's the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I can only tie a loose knot. Another foot or so would be great. The coat is surprisingly warm. Wearing this and the matching slippers allows me to turn down the heat during this cold season and save pennies.
