A simple two band radio. Nothing more, set the range and listen. In terms of reception quality, unsurpassed Panasonic quality. Panasonic has done a trick with the ergonomics of control: the power-on slider is combined with the range switching, while the power-off falls on the middle position of the slider. Not convenient. The huge grandmother of the frequency adjustment tuner hides the volume control behind it. For most users, of course, such "little things" will not be an unpleasant surprise, but for older people this can cause some inconvenience. Also, an extended VHF range would not hurt.
