For the price they are good. Don't isolate external noise as part of your ear isn't very big but I find them comfortable to use, they don't give you good sound but you can hear better than without them. I use them to watch movies on my phone when you can't hear what people are saying. Plug them in. At least it helps, it's a good deal for what they charge. They help you here, what you hear is better than without them
