Make sure you use a round socket with enough space for wiring. Contrary to the instructions, the rectangular box does not allow this bracket to be placed, since the hanging bar must be diagonal and not vertical to accommodate the large clamp. The lantern uses an expensive GU24 bulb; Get an E26 E27 adapter adapter so you can use 13w helix compact fluorescent bulbs. DO NOT use incandescent bulbs as they are too hot. In general it looks fine. The plastic lid does not close completely; There's plenty of room on the back, so don't expect a waterproof mount. At least it won't corrode on the ocean.
