Bought it as a Father's Day present. Unfortunately the item does not close properly as advertised. The lid sticks out on one side, making the sealing function completely useless/wrong. If you use a very aggressive force, the lid will briefly close, but will eventually lift back to the side. But who wants to do this EVERY time you open a canister? Theoretically good product and the design is nice but useless. Since I was out of town I missed the return window. Maybe that makes good dishes? But frankly, it just goes wasted.
