Aluminum weatherproof covers (up to I didn't bother that the condo administration was wondering if the underlying car was/is allowed on the property). Although the numbers were a bit difficult to remove from the sheet (because the die seemed to cut through not only the letters but also the shiny part of the backing), the ability of the glue to stick to my fingers suggests the numbers are there the cover is unlikely to come off. In fact, I think they will be difficult to remove from the lid - so I assume they will last a long time. Bottom line: I'm happy with them - they're perfect for my application (and I'm looking for more residual uses) - only time will tell, but I suspect the numbers will outlive the car covers.
