I use for eight hours each day. A typical scenario would be: you're working nonstop when the message "mouse battery very low" appears. You have no time to charge it, and after an hour and a half it shuts down. You throw it on your back, cursing, and wait for 5 to 10 minutes, hoping you won't miss anything. Because there are extra batteries in the box, I believe the original edition was superior as a functioning tool. They appeared to last longer. In summary, I do not see how this product can have such a great rating given the numerous "buts" that are mentioned. Nothing helps when second-generation mice start to lag after two years; after resetting the bluetooth parameters, the cursor starts to jitter again after a few minutes. It appears like pickups are coming from something or that something is preventing the bluetooth from sharing frequencies with it. In order for it to function at least somewhat, I would like to insert a wire into it, but sadly this is not possible.
