Although I bought the Enster solar camera in January and installed it on the front wall of my one-story villa, since the villa is built into the slope of the street, I could only see the end of the Street leading to my driveway. I bought an Enster solar PTZ camera as it also offers the option to mount the solar panel separately - this was important as I wanted the camera to face away from the sun so I could mount the panel facing the sun can. After receiving the equipment, I first charge the camera for at least 15 hours using the supplied USB charging cable. I then installed the camera at home next to the router in my network - UBox has been installed on my iPhone since the first installation of the camera and can work with at least two devices. To easily connect to Wi-Fi, I used the "sound wave configuration" option, which involves bringing the iPhone close to the camera, which broadcasts sound that is recognized by the phone and simply added to the local network. Installing the camera and solar panel in the required locations was easy - all necessary accessories are included. I also put a 128GB memory card in the camera. At first I had trouble reconnecting the camera to my network after installing it outdoors, but by repositioning the Wi-Fi extender I was able to get a good 2.4GHz signal. Panning the camera with the onscreen controls The UBox allows you to rotate the camera a little over 300 degrees up and down, allowing me to see traffic in different places on the road. Once connected, a cog on the screen lets you change numerous settings to get the camera working the way you want, whether it's recording day or night. The night light compensation option includes LED lights and the detected person can be seen clearly. I used the maximum 128GB memory card option, and when activity was detected or you recorded a video, you can choose which recording you want to view. If necessary, this action can also be transferred to your photo album by clicking on another icon. From there you can transfer it to other devices if needed. The camera can be activated in different ways. Activating motion detection will automatically start recording and there will also be a beep from your phone. If you tap the device screen to view a scene, it will also be recorded for 200-300 seconds. There are two other options available on the UBox screen: by clicking the icons, you can either take a single photo, or you can click the record video button and record for as long as you want. In both cases, these results are written directly to your photo album on your iPhone/iPad. If something triggers recording, the camera will beep to let people know they're recording, although you have the option to turn that feature off. Also, on the UBox screen, you can activate the microphone to talk to the person outside. Most of the settings I use are mostly the defaults, but the recorded HD image is excellent during the day and perfectly acceptable at night even when using the Normal setting. When I look at it on my 12.5" iPad Pro, I can zoom in on the image and conveniently read the house number in my mailbox, for example. I'm very pleased with the versatility of the camera - yes, sometimes it activates when something is detected and the recording doesn't show what caused it, but if a person or vehicle passes the detection area (up to 40ft from the camera) - then it works fine.Having had another Enster since January this year -camera and it continues to work well, I certainly expect this camera to do the same.Enster is really supportive with any questions you might have and the 36-page user manual can be downloaded from the website and answers many questions .Definitely recommended.
