So this is something you can easily do with a piece of tape, but if you like the simple, clean look of your tech, this works very well. It attaches to the camera on the frame of your laptop or desktop and then slides back and forth to block or unblock the camera's view of your world. It is best to slide before sticking and carefully position the hole. Once it's in place, you can slide the lid back and forth. It most likely won't work on a smartphone because it sticks to a surface and I suspect that after a few swipes in a pocket or purse it will immediately detach. A fun little idea and inexpensive so there's no harm in trying it out.
