Review on 🧩 Toddler Wooden Puzzles by Quokka - Fun for all Year Round! by John Walker

Received them in the mail today. I was a little hesitant to buy this because of the previous reviews. They are not that thick and heavy, but very well made. None of them have splinters or are smooth. A previous review mentioned a strong smell of paint, but I have to disagree. I've worked with laser engraving/wood carving before and these smells are exactly the same. The cutout of this puzzle is clean and precise. This is the smell of laser cut wood, so it smells a bit like laser burned wood. It's not overwhelming and I'm sure things will settle down with time. Overall I am very happy with these puzzles and would definitely recommend them. I plan to pair them with animal figures with my daughter. Image quality is very good and realistic (perfect for my Montessori approach). I'm so glad I took the plunge and bought it. I will purchase other items from this brand/seller depending on how satisfied I am with the quality of these puzzles.
