I took the opportunity and bought this dock for my new iPhone 7. It perfectly fits both iPhone 7 and iPhone 6S+. I've tested it on multiple devices in the office and it's big enough to support the weight of large iPhones and regular iPhones without hesitation. A couple of interesting things to note about this model: A wheel behind the back panel raises and lowers the Lightning connector up and down to allow it to reach the iPhone through a thick, heavy case. When lowered, it's perfect for phones wrapped in thin silicone cases. Also, the Lightning connector itself is attached to a "reel" so when you pull on the phone with the phone plugged in, there's a flexible "kickback" to the connector itself. This is very important as the connector is not at a 'fixed angle' and pulling from the wrong side can either dislodge the connector or damage your phone's charging port. I tested this by gently tugging the phone at various angles and noticing a "spike" in the connector. No problems to consider. The base has a non-slip rubber layer, which makes the charging station lie softly on the table surface.
