First of all, they really aren't suitable for boba/bubble tea, even though they are sold as such. Some bobs will climb up the straw, others will get stuck, and if the tea drinker is as persistent as I am, they will still be pulled up by strong suction and pushed backwards from the center of the straw very suddenly. mouth and throat, which can cause choking. I realized I could stick my tongue out to stop them, but can anyone, a kid can? My second issue with them is a combination of my fault and Revane's: when I looked for silicone straws for the bean, Revane served them up even though they aren't silicone and I didn't notice and ordered.
