Review on DLA Piper by Michael Moonin

This was my first choice when I decided to switch firms from another large international US Firm! Great organization, great team - super helpful people who work with you every step of way during your engagement. The cost for services far exceeds other options we have explored in prior years (and it's not as cheap!). If value/cost ratio were more favorable, this would be our preferred selection. We are looking at adding additional counsel to handle new matters but will likely look elsewhere if pricing does increase significantly due to increased staffing levels. Tax issues related to complex transactions that require an understanding of foreign tax credits and treatment under local laws, particularly regarding cross border investment funds- CIFs versus LTFV assets.
