I needed a small case to carry and protect my new Canon Powershot SX530 HS camera. I also wish it could carry a few extra batteries, an SD card and a charger. This case fits the bill! It's a small, compact yet functional body that goes well with the SX530. The camera can be placed in the case lens down or on its side, which I prefer for quicker access to the ejector. It has a small zipped pocket in the lid that is perfect for extra SD cards and lens paper. It has a baffle in front of the inner case for the charger. It has zipped pockets on both sides with internal mesh pockets that can hold a few batteries or small items like a lens cleaning brush, etc. The fabric is a typical thick polyester, a durable material in black with orange accents. There's a very wide belt loop that doubles as a handle, although the padded handle at the top is extremely comfortable and durable. There are eyelets on the side of the case for attaching the supplied shoulder strap. There are large clips on the strap that feel solid and reliable despite the plastic. The shoulder strap itself is quite long and functional, but doesn't say much. This is enough for a relatively small load that will weigh the body and contents. Rarely have I been so satisfied with a cheap camera or camcorder bag.
