Works well up close but only up close
Bought two of these and at first thought they didn't work at all or wouldn't connect or the buttons didn't work sensitive enough. But I went ahead before throwing them away and found that both work great in the 8-9 foot range. Aside from that, our Roku 3 can't take any commands from them at all. In comparison, the OEM remote works over 35 feet. (And then I bumped into the outside wall of the room, so I can't test further.) So if that's enough for your needs, and based on a few days of use within that limit, I can recommend them.
