Review on Glixal High Performance Racing Clutch Assembly with Clutch Bell for GY6 49cc 50cc 139QMA 139QMB Engine Scooter Moped ATV Go-Kart by Mike Hernandez

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Current USEFUL rating

Will fit most 50cc, but doesn't mean it's designed for it. The standard spring on most scooters has a rated speed of 1000 rpm. The spring in this clutch is 2000. That means if you haven't upgraded your scooter with other parts, fitting this clutch will only slow the scooter down. If you want something similar with stronger springs than your stock clutch I would recommend getting a big bore 100cc kit. First of all, a larger main jet and better airflow in the scooter. To sum it up, if you're trying to replace a clutch because it's busted or something, buy a clutch with 1000rpm springs. Contact Revain for details of the springs supplied with the clutch. Of course if you want to upgrade your clutch that's fine, but if you notice all the other people commenting on the included 2000rpm red spring. Because in most cases it is too difficult. IF YOU HAVE A LARGE KIT INSTALLED. Then you should be satisfied with 1500 yellow feathers. You can order it separately with this part and then attach it. But be careful! The screw holding the clutch breaks easily. So you take it off to replace the spring and when you try to put it back together you can't get the screw all the way in because it's already stripped. WHAT I HAVE: I have a scooter with a 100cc kit. New gas lines, air filter, lighter rollers, CDI performance. So I made a few things, the biggest of which was a series of holes. I have this clutch and the red spring (2000rpm) is generally too stiff. So I bought a 1500rpm spring at a local store. When the clutch was there it looked fine, disassembled it and changed the springs. When I tried to put the screw back in, it just started turning at an angle Bc, it had already snapped off. I only removed the screw once. So I ordered the part again…. Part 2 of this review will be published when it arrives.
