I had these in my old house - my designer chose them. I didn't really appreciate them until I moved out and started using the regular round "rings" for towels. Let's face it, folded towels aren't round, they're flat. I replaced the rings with them and they not only improved the look but also allowed the towels to fold neatly instead of stuffing through the circular ring. They were very easy to install. Drill two holes, attach the bracket with the 2 screws provided or Molly + screws, attach the towel ring by tightening the pin on the bottom with the Allen key provided. The square chrome bracket and ring are actually two pieces. They come pre-assembled and you don't need to take them apart, but if they're loose on arrival, tighten the connecting screw with a Phillips screwdriver before installation. Easy easy. The only thing that bothers me is that they are expensive. For less money it's hard to find anything equal in quality and style :-(
