The shelf is a nice shelf but the directions are horrible. The clip pieces were uneven and the pictures do not tell you which way to put the knob insert on the clips. If you put them on wrong you have a heck of a time getting back apart. As long you take your time you figure the first one out you can have a nice shelf. We have put a food processor and various kitchen appliances on it. The shelves are sturdy and have not bent. I like the smaller size as it fits in a small space. The finish did not scratch when it was put together. So far there are no black scuff marks from the feet of the shelf. It is bumped a little by dogs and humans when walking by it and there have been no issues of anything falling over or the shelf shaking. I would by it again. Just be aware if you are not mechanically inclined then the directions are of no help in assembling it!
