A year ago I had an excellent battery life as well as the product itself. We had it in 2017 and used it for several months without changing the battery. No luck this time. I received a sign-up gift and now that baby #2 has moved into the crib I've finally opened it and there seems to be a problem with the product. I've changed the batteries a couple of times, but after a day or so the unit just keeps turning off. The batteries seem to drain quickly even when the item is not being used. I was better at turning it off, but then the device doesn't signal to turn on when the baby cries, which was the best feature the first time around. Of course I am not subject to the return policy and I have sent an email to vtech but have not received a reply. Decided to place an order for "Star Belly Dream Lite" and give it a try.
