My 13 year old cat usually prefers small jars or bags of food and refuses 5.5 oz. I have no idea why. I saw this food and decided to try it. He likes slices rather than pie, and that actually looked pretty appetizing. My cat has been eating it for a long time with no problems. He seems to enjoy it and doesn't get sick after eating like other brands sometimes do. So far, so good. He might change his mind and decide he hates this food, but now he's on a decent diet and feels good for his age. The vet told me at this point to feed him whatever brand and type of food he would eat and to keep him under control as he is thin. So far, this feed has met all requirements. i am sold
