I've had these for 6 months now and they work perfectly. We just replaced our heavy duty microwave with a range hood so I had to redo the wiring by drilling holes in the cabinet. I decided to solder part of the LED strip while turning off the power several times. When I finally finished all the settings, the controller says it's offline. I've constantly unplugged and plugged the power or controller back in, no change. Luckily I decided to go back to the reviews and accidentally saw the description that disconnecting and reconnecting 4 times will reset the controller. Viola, I removed the controller from the application and added the device and just saw the controller and connected to wifi. Back to business in 30 seconds. Please note that you will need to disable your phone data during setup as this will impact Wi-Fi connectivity during setup. I highly recommend this product.
