Review on Chinese Porcelain Spoons White Color by Johnny Pigao

Finally found a spoon that's the right size AND with a curved end so the spoon doesn't fall into the soup. I love that the spoon is a deep, flat-bottomed oval - helps when rolling up the pasta with a fork! I love that the whole spoon is glazed, no pottery/clay visible on the side of the spoon - it gives me a more secure feeling, the entire surface of the spoon cleans up nicely when washed. I also like the heat resistance of a ceramic spoon - it doesn't get as hot as a metal spoon, which means I'm not as afraid of burning my tongue. The only criticism is that the spoon is a bit heavy. It's not overly obnoxious, it feels solid. But we have a set of high quality light (thin) china plates and it would be nice to have bright white spoons with reasonable thickness. Still a great choice for soups, yogurt, custard desserts and granola!
