I am using a TOTU 8-in-1 Type-C USB hub as a multiport device to connect in a conference room. The hub requires no installation procedures or drivers. It is connected to a Samsung Galaxy Book 10.6 tablet. I have two 16GB USB sticks, an 8GB SD card, an 8GB micro SD card, an HDMI cable to the projector, an Ethernet network, and a tablet power adapter that plugs into connected to a hub. I can successfully read and write high-capacity spreadsheets and video files simultaneously to and from all storage devices without interruption or buffering. I didn't measure the transfer speed on any of the devices, but I didn't notice any interruptions or delays when transferring files or video presentations. The hub is slim, durable and seems to stand up to the rigors of everyday use. It is used as intended. I would recommend the hub for everyday use including the office, field work and travel. I use it for presentations and it was perfect.
