LED bar comes with mounting brackets and hardware. I bought my son a lightweight stick to attach to a small tractor for evening fall plowing. He has chosen not to use the included mounts as he is installing them in a different location where they will not work. At this time he makes his own. He did a quick test to see how bright the light was and said it was very bright. I'll update my review with photos once it's all done. UPDATE: 1/2/17 - Well my son hooked up the lightbar to his homemade mount. This works very well. (I apologize for the bad photos as my phone doesn't take really good photos) The light bar is very bright and great for its plowing work. He is very happy with that.
