My $1600 phone was permanently damaged!

TL;DR: These poor quality cables burned and caused permanent damage to the charging port in my Samsung Galaxy Note 9. ----- This technology is conceptually a good idea, but that's why it's easy not ready practical use. The Type-C connector fits snugly and firmly into my phone's port, even with a case on. I was worried it wouldn't happen. The two shorter cables seemed to provide a fast charge every time they were successfully paired (more on the "successful" part later. The longer cable only reached the fast charge state about 20% of the time and would easily lose it if it became a Pretty much every time you moved your phone even though it had a solid physical connection The medium length cable sometimes lost charge status despite a solid physical connection and that's the gist, I don't think I've ever dropped a phone while using these cables don't think the problem was with the plug itself.. it stopped charging until i picked up my phone (still connected to the cable) and my phone was incredibly hot it never got warm enough, that I could feel it through my case. After that I thought I was done with the incident. These charging leads popped off and went back to my standard charging g guesses To my dismay, my phone is now screaming "check charging connection" with the charging cable and power bank I was using. I even pulled a brand new OEM charger out of the original phone box and it gave the same error. "38 hours to a full charge," he said, and the only way to successfully charge it with a cable is to turn it off while charging overnight. I've tried all fixes including factory reset but to no avail which means it's not a software issue. These charging cables permanently damaged the charging port on my $1600 Samsung phone. Now I'm stuck with the wireless charging dock until I get my phone in for repairs.
