For Ref: 5ft 4in, 120lbs with hips. I spent about 4-5 months with these shorts and am very glad I finally spent money on them. I'm on the heavy end of the flux spectrum and have relied on pads to get the level of protection I need, despite their terrible diaper quality. Thought I'd try them out on my lighter days to see how they hold up and do their job. In fact, on the FIRST DAY I can work in them from 9 to 5 (change right after work). The material is soft and elastic, the strap does not pinch, breathes. While they don't absorb moisture/clumps as quickly as a maxi, they seem to keep me drier overall, which is especially nice in hot weather. I haven't had any leaks with the full cover design (and I have a heavy butt) as they only get a little wet when it's time to change. They haven't ruined my other linens (I rinse them right after use and wash them in cold or lukewarm water) and they still look fresh. It's a bit strange to get used to "free bleed" at first, but after a few months it seems more normal than any other device, plus it's really nice not to buy/keep disposable products. Freedom!
