I originally bought Medix Retinol + Ferulic Acid Lotion and my problem was the smell. The moisturizing properties were amazing - literally lasted over 24 hours and the smoothness was second to none. The smell increased on me, but I decided to try Advanced Clinicals Retinol Firming Cream (part of Advanced Clinicals CoQ10 Anti-Wrinkle Cream). Odor. Few pluses, but I like the pleasant smell. Moisturizing properties doesn't compare to Medix Retinol Lotion + Ferulic Acid and doesn't compare to the feel and longevity on skin of 24 hours plus the silky feel lasts as long as the fantastic moisturizing properties. I am glad that the fragrance has grown on me because now I will order it as my favorite.
