At first I couldn't get my Brother MFC-J995DW printer to recognize that new cartridges were installed and I couldn't print. I contacted the seller and got a quick response telling me to ignore the error message and try to print. It was useful but not that easy. I had to remove, insert and shake the cartridges several times before the printer recognized all the cartridges and then I had to restart the printer and laptop for the printer to respond and start printing. Seems to be working fine now. Of course, these cartridges were much cheaper than the Brothers version. Let's see how they continue to work.
